Gorgeous ring, so dainty and delicate. Very feminine, yet elegant and a great statement piece. Absolutely beautiful! I would say, though, perhaps to order a 1/4 size down. Because of the unique styling of the ring, the top swirly portion lifts a little higher than if it were a completely closed circle, therefore creating a little extra space at the top. However I like my rings a bit loose, so this is perfect!

I bought my wife this canary yellow Ceylon sapphire and diamond ring for Christmas and it is even more gorgeous in real life than the photos! Our jeweler was extremely impressed with the quality of the ring. And it appraised for twice what it cost! My wife loves it. Thanks, Julia B!

About

Mmmm... Sparkly....

While my background is in biotech, I've been a gem enthusiast for a very long time. Creating a unique and special jewelry piece with gems that you don't usually find at most jewelry stores and using inspiration from vintage and modern design is a very creative and rewarding experience.

Hello and welcome to my store!
I have been a gem enthusiast and collector for many years. The goal of my shop is to provide custom designs featuring precision-cut and rare gemstones (stuff you usually don't find at your neighbourhood jewelry store). I am also a fan of antique-cut moissanite as a diamond alternative. Please contact me directly for a custom design idea, and I can source your gemstone or moissanite and bring it to life!
Please note that I also have a "day job", so I typically reply in the evenings. I also ship items on Saturday, since the post office works the same hours as I do. For custom dewsigns, please allow 6-8 weeks production time, depending on on queue.
Thanks for visiting my shop!

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
  • Buy with Apple Pay
  • Pay with Sofort
  • Pay with iDeal
  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
Items that are "ready to ship" need to be paid in full. For custom design items, I can break up the payment into two: half due at start and the rest on completion. Please contact me if you need another payment plan.
Shipping
Items will be shipped by insured mail. Orders over $500 will be shipped by registered mail. This is the case for orders within the U.S. If you are an international buyer, please contact me first for a quote (international buyers are responsible for any applicable taxes in their country). I cannot ship to APO because they don't allow registered mail.
Refunds and Exchanges
Items that are "ready to ship" and have not been modified have a 5-day return policy (you get a refund of item price, not the shipping charge). Removing the tag from your jewelry will void the return policy, so please don't remove the tag until you are sure about keeping your item.

If an item has been modified (for example resized), then no return is accepted. Also, items that are made to order are non-refundable. However, it is my priority to make sure that my customers are happy with their purchase, so I will work on any possible issues that come up.
Additional policies and FAQs
Additional fees:
Resizing: there is a $40 resizing fee. For items over $1000, we will offer free resizing.
Engraving: $25 per word.
Setting your stone: there is a $50 mounting fee and you would need to sign a waiver of liability. It is at our discretion to decide which stones we feel comfortable setting.

Policy on buying gemstones:
-We are happy to provide additional photos or videos, to help you make a decision
-We offer a 5-day inspection period. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you can return the gem in its original undamaged condition for a full refund (buyer pays return shipping).
-If you don't see what you are looking for in the listings, please contact me and I will be happy to source your special gem for you.
-I can get a report from GIA on your request. It will cost $120 and take about a month. The report fee is not refundable.

Also, a note on gemstone photography. It is often very hard to photograph the gemstone accurately, as the color may vary depending on light source, camera or even your monitor. I photopgraph gemstones in natural light only and I do not edit the photos in any way (other than cropping). If you would like additional photos or videos, please ask.
