I haven’t in my limited knowledge have come across a book that features painting various types of leaves. Julia is very generous in sharing her skills and experiences.

I highly recommended this book! What a wonderful little book; I learned so much from this compact guide and now I understand how to approach colour much better. Included with the book is a small dot card which was very useful as I was able to compare my own paints to see which ones are best for mixing. I learned about technical information such as comparing paints across brands and granulation, which was quite unexpected but very helpful! The information regarding colour usage is going to save me so much trial and error, and I can approach my paintings equipped with the right knowledge now, so I can get the results I want. Thank you for creating such a wonderful little guide, Julia!
