This is a beautifully decorated hand fan, and nicely made. I did experience some level of dissatisfaction with purchase which the seller responded quickly and made efforts to quickly resolve.

HOW MY SHOP NAME CAME ABOUT...
My shop name comes from my maiden name, Juliano, which I am very proud of. Both my Grandparents families came from Italy in the early 1900's. An arraigned marriage, (those were the days lol) Dominic Juliano and Mary Scalise were married for over 50 yrs before my Grandfather passed away. Then in her early 90's Grams also passed on. Nothing has been quite the same since they went home, but one thing that hasn't changed is the pride I have with my name. Out of 9 children my father was the baby. Their names were (not in order): Josephine, Helen, Florence, Marion, Minnie, Francis, Dominic Jr, Vincent and Paul,my dad. They lost Francis at 13 yrs old in a freak accident. I lost brother Paul Jr., in 1995. Then my mother Shirley, in 2006 and then my dad in 2008. I still have my sister, Teresa, that I love dearly but she lives in MI and I live in OH, so contact isn't what it should be, but we try. Love ya sis! ♥
Of the original 9 there was, only one is left of the Juliano children from my grandparents and that is my Uncle Dominic Jr. whom I love very much and his wife Aunt Susie. He is a strong man with a kind heart. With a special talented mouse, ask if ya want to know more about that! lol it's his trademark with kids and adults alike! He will always be known for that and his jokes. He's got some good ones on the fly anytime of any day or night! Laughter is the best medicine! He's proven that time and time again! ♥
HOW THIS SHOP CAME ABOUT:
I started this business because after collecting for over the past 30 something years. It's time. I have always been fascinated with antique and vintage items I believe since I was a kid. Every summer we would go and visit my grandparents in PA. I remember always walking a couple blocks with her over to the Italian deli and getting some fresh bread and cold cuts, at that time the area WAS Little Italy. Everyone knew everyone and their house was like a revolving door. Someone was always coming over and of course always packed in the kitchen first! a loud house and I loved it! I remember also that every time Grandma would break out photos...old photos, or show me some stuff from one of her chests in the house and I was just so intrigued with them that I don't think that part of me ever left! She had quite a few hope chests in the house. Before we would leave to go home, she always had to give you something. I believe my love of old things began in her home by her! I loved looking through the old photos of family and friends that were from Italy. I loved it, so I have always collected with my heart, the way I felt when I would see that awesome thing grandma would show me or tell me about. So that's how I collect, not just with my eye as I said before. My house has always been decorated with a wide, variety of different types of items that's for sure! Makes for an interesting walk through sometimes lol
When it comes to collecting I need to feel a pull to the item and I do, otherwise it doesn't even catch a second glance. There are times I come across many things but nothing talks to me and when I am about to just call it a day, then it happens, I found my "gotta have" That doesn't always happen, sometimes there is nothing speaking to my heart, but it's such a cool feeling when it does! I love to know the history on an item as well and if there is no story to go along with it, I can easily slip into my own thought of envisioning one. Especially the older pieces. To put myself back in that time, I just get a rush thinking of who all owned it before me and what and how it got to be in my hands. Some items I will never let go, because I feel they made it to their final destination, those items will be passed down to my children. Then there are items you'll find in my shop, I feel they are not done traveling to find their final destination.
So I offer you these treasures that have served so well through out the years to me and countless others. These treasures are what you will see in my shop, items that pulled my heart, served it's purpose well and are now ready to move on and find their final destination. Who knows maybe you'll come across one or more of the many items I have to offer that pulls your heart! Either way, these antique and vintage items are still full of life and need to live on. Maybe your home is the final destination they are looking for!
I want my customers to know I will work with you to make that item yours, just contact me and it can happen. I know the feeling when you want something but can't quite afford it or can't get it right now, so I also will "RESERVE" an item(s) for you and we can work out the details. I also offer LAYAWAY'S and of course I will "ALWAYS" consider "REASONABLE OFFERS" when the item is "not on sale already". ►I ship through USPS (United States Postal Service) Fed-Ex and UPS. Depending on which would be the lesser amount between the options. I will always do my best to package your item to ensure it reaches you safely. Please note, that in the unlikely event that your order is lost, damaged or stolen during shipping unless it was insured there is nothing I can do about it. This is why I "recommend" getting insurance, but this is entirely up to you.
►Fed-ex and UPS are used only on larger items, if necessary. The description of the items will have this in the details if this is the shipping method for that item.
►I will be happy to ship Express mail if you need the item quick but PLEASE contact me first since those prices are not the one listed, so I can give you an accurate price for that option.
►In the event that the item gets returned to me, due to an incorrect address that is non-deliverable, I will contact you twice from the date it was returned as undelivered, to get your correct address. If you do not supply the correct address to me when requested within a 30 day grace period, then I will have no choice but to re-list the item(s) and no refund will be given.

YOU MUST: Save all pieces, packing material and box. Take pictures of the box and while you are opening the package if possible, especially if the box is damaged. You will have the insurance info on the postage on the package. You need to take it to your local postal office for a refund.
Refunds and Exchanges
All items are sold as-is and as described. Vintage and Antique items can and sometimes do have slight imperfections and wear as they are authentically vintage and / or antique. I do my best to put details on any and all imperfections there might be on an item listed. Photos of the damage as well if there is such. If I have misrepresented any item in my shop then please contact me. ***see below about returns.
►Please read through the Item description and make sure to view all the pictures provided for that item. I try to describe each item to the best of my ability, if you have questions by all means please contact me by using the "Ask a Questions" link on the page of the item "BEFORE" you purchase anything. I want you to be happy with your purchase. Therefore, If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason simply contact me and describe the situation. There might be something we can work out.
★ In the event a return is agreed upon, send the item back in good / undamaged condition within 14 days (the same shape you bought it in) and I will refund your purchase price for the item, less the shipping fee.
★ Note, however, that the return shipping is solely the buyers responsibility and it is non-refundable.***
►Please, note though if items arrive damaged and you did not buy insurance for the package, I am not responsible for the damage through the postal system and no refund will be issued. All items are sold as-is. Since I have no control of the package once I place it in the postal system, I can not and will not be held responsible for damages caused by the postal system.
►However, if damage doesn't seem to have happened during shipping and you feel it was not the postal systems fault yet you did NOT have insurance. Then please contact me and do the following so I can talk with you and work out a solution.

I don't and will not ever leave you high and dry if you buy from me and I will try to work something out with you. I don't like receiving broken items I pay for, so I don't expect you to either. So contact me no matter what so we can figure out what I can do for you.
***However please be assured, I do package my items very carefully as to make sure that your item(s) have a slim to none chance of arriving damaged. I sell a lot of fragile items so I package everything like it's fragile...even if it's a rock! ◕‿◕ I trust no one with the item(s) welfare until it reaches you, the buyer! So don't be surprised if you see fragile on any item(s) that are not fragile! I do this in hopes that the postal system takes care of the packages they are handling. However I can't control that, so all I can do is hope they respect the package details.

★★★ I RECYCLE ALL PACKAGING, AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE ★★★
★ Since I do recycle packaging, I do my best to make sure those items are as fresh as possible as well. Since I don't always know where they originally originated from, so being they are not originally from me, I instantly put them in my "freshness state" if you will, before I use them.
★ ALSO, Please Note: This is a People, Pet, Smoker, Incenses, Candles, Fireplace (during winter months) and Cooking Friendly Shop. It is never my intent to send smells to someone else, just the item they purchased. So please make sure you are aware however slight it is, that there is a possibility there could be a smell of the things I have mentioned above.
