I just couldn't resist this enchanting farm scene...I want to be the lady in the painting!

About

I aim to tell a story with my personal symbols and memories

All art seems to be connected, but there is something unique for me in taking a damp bit of clay and making with it anything you wish. I like to work seasonally as well. Lambs, birds and wildflowers in the spring. Hollyhocks, dahlias, gardeners and gardens in the summer.
Foxes, hedgehogs, rabbits and other woodland animals in the fall. And in the winter all of them bundled up and braving the weather.
There is painting to do when clay is drying, or when the electricity fails here in the windy weather.
When out and abouting, I like to birdwatch along the bluffs, frequent museums and walk along the seashore and sometimes splash about in the chilly seawater. A red letter day for me is when I have seen a kingfisher dive, watched a herd of deer stomp through the garden or have the rare treat of driving to the city and seeing an art show at The Santa Barbara Museum of art.
I adore all animals, trees, gardens and their caretakers and slightly sagging old houses with loads of windows and crooked stairways.

I wrap carefully, using double boxing for more delicate pieces. I ship priority mail from my local post office. My bubble paper is bio degradable.
