This is a beautiful and whimsical piece of art. It makes me smile every time I look at it. The artist clearly was inspired by the most lovable character in the Star Wars universe! Shipping was very fast and the art was packaged carefully. It arrived perfectly. The letter carriers actually paid attention to the "do not bend" written all over the package. I'm so happy with this purchase!!
Why "Jumping Rails"?
I chose my store's name for a couple of reasons.
First, I tend to jump from one type of art to another. You'll see I do original acrylic paintings, mixed media, altered thrift store art, and even the occasional wand. Like a train switching tracks, I go full-ahead in one direction, then find something else I just have to try and go full-ahead in that direction.
The second reason is completely unrelated to art. Right before I opened my Etsy shop, I attended a writers conference in Philadelphia. In order to get to the train stop from the conference center, we had to cross under tracks through a tunnel. The day I left, the tunnel was flooded, so a few of us jumped the fence and crossed the tracks. Jumping Rails.
