A native of the Midwest, Karen spent the last 30 years in Central Pennsylvania and recently relocated to Nashville, TN. Her inspiration derives from her environment and all of these locations have greatly influenced her artwork. As a visually curious person, she enjoys using artifacts in her paintings like glass, sand, starfish, beads, wood, instruments, and anything else she finds intriguing. Karen loves texture. Each piece she creates is custom and one-of-a-kind. Rooms have a way of speaking and communicating with us. To personalize your painting, Karen incorporates items that have special meaning to the client. Karen also has a strong background in interior design, floral design, and photography. These passions have had a tremendous effect on her artistic style as well. One of her greatest joys in life has been raising her two creative and talented daughters whom continuously support and believe in her artist endeavors.
