I've been an entrepreneur since the age of 18, I absolutely love business & feel grateful to have the opportunity to work from home with my Etsy Shop. Becoming a mom ( I'm now a mom of 3) has helped me persevere, adapt and grow my business mindset.
Over the years I've owned businesses ranging from:
- professional figure skating coach and off ice trainer
- co-owned and operated a non toxic cleaning company with my husband
- owner & CEO of a local bike tour business
- built profitable direct sales businesses and managed teams of people
- online fitness coach and instructor
- social media manager and content creator
Growing business is definitely a passion of mine but managing our crazy wonderful household with 3 energetic kiddos and homeschooling is truly my WHY! Being able to work from home is the primary reason I've chosen to make Etsy my business. I thank you for supporting me!
HOW I CAME UP WITH MY SHOP NAME
Growing up I was extremely close with my grandparents, I spent many summers boating in the San Juan Islands with them near Seattle WA. The JUNEBUG was the name of their Grand Banks boat, papa affectionately named it after my grandma June who was blind. My grandma June was an incredible inspiration, SO much fun, and despite her lack of sight she loved to SHOP and go out on COFFEE DATES! She was always there for me, and prayed with me. "JUNEBUG" is a name that has always stuck with me ... June is my middle name and my youngest daughter's middle name. And YES, we call her "JUNEBUG" too.
