How it all began!
Juniper Street Designs began on my dining room table! I was pregnant with our second little one and we had decided to keep the gender a secret, even from ourselves! I still wanted to decorate the nursery and we decided on Owls because they were adorable and gender neutral.
I began sketching out a few different types of owls. After FINALLY creating an owl that I was happy with, I made my first mobile. Granted, when my husband came home from work that day, the dining room table looked like a bomb had gone off. However, the mobile had sparked and idea. I showed a few people and everyone was so impressed, they all said I should sell them. I thought that was totally out of reach, until I found Etsy!
I am a certified teacher but after having our daughter, we decided that staying home with our kiddos was what worked best for us. Juniper Street began as a DIY project and blossomed into so much more. I wouldn't be so successful without the help of my family, friends and YOU! I love going to work everyday and creating such special pieces for your little one's rooms.
