Demi-fine jewelry, designed in Nova Scotia
I started Juno & Fern because I kept buying jewelry that didn't survive the year.
Thin plating that wore through in months. Pieces that turned my skin green. Jewelry that looked good in photos and felt disposable in real life. I wanted something in between costume jewelry and fine jewelry pieces that felt considered, held up to daily wear, and didn't require a special occasion.
So I made them.
What makes these different
Every piece is 18K gold vermeil: 4 microns of solid gold over sterling silver. Most "gold plated" jewelry uses 0.5 microns or less — a coating so thin it wears through in a season. Vermeil at this thickness is a legal standard, not a marketing term, and it's the difference between jewelry you replace and jewelry you keep.
Everything is nickel-free and hypoallergenic. The sterling silver base means there's no brass underneath waiting to react with your skin.
Moments worth marking
The pieces are designed around the things that deserve to be noticed — a promotion, a fresh start, a quiet decision you made about your own life. Some milestones get announced. Others just get worn.
Designed in Nova Scotia. Made to repeat.
