I have a love of colour and am influenced by my surroundings here in Devon - the moor, the sea, the hedgerows, are all reflected in my colourways. I have no set procedure when dyeing and am often led by how I'm feeling, what I may have seen that day, or just spur of the moment inspirations. I always work with music on and I like to immerse myself in the process - be assured that my hand dyes are created in a happy space !

All my items are hand dyed with care and attention to detail.
I only sell what I myself would be happy to buy and work with.

Due to the nature of hand dyeing, no two yarns or rovings will ever be *exactly* the same, even in the same colourway and dyelot. You may wish to use two skeins and alternate them every few rows, for uniformity.

Unless specified all colourways are one of a kind (OOAK)

I try to photograph my items as accurately as possible, in natural light, without flash. All monitors vary though, so please bear in mind that the colours you see may be different to what I see.

****FIBRE CARE****

It is advisable to gently handwash your yarn or roving in cool water, to avoid felting and air dry.

Superwash items will NOT felt and can be gently mashine washed on cool although I would still advise handwashing to preserve the life of your handknits. Air dry, not machine.

I use professional acid milling dyes for optimum colour fastness and rinse all of my items multiple times to minimise colour run. Occasionally I may use a gentle wool wash before rinsing which imparts a slight lavender fragrance.

Despite these precautions it may still be possible to see a small colour bleed on the first wash. This is rare and should be minimal.

**AND LASTLY....Please note that we are a dog and cat friendly household and whilst my wool is kept wrapped and away from the pets, I cannot guarantee 100% that the odd hair won't be picked up** Gotta be honest about this one ;)
