Finding the Calm Among The Madness
It all started with me relocating to California 5 years ago. The move strained me mentally and I found myself leaning on meditating and the attending sound baths regularly to easy my anxious and depressing mind.
2020 has been extremely difficult for me like it has for just about every one I know. On top of the normal day to day anxiety and sadness covid has unleashed upon everyone, working on an actual covid floor adds to the madness on a level you can’t imagine. It’s so draining and then when you try to find something to do to unwind you’re limited on activities to do to keep sane among all of it.
For me I’ve HEAVILY leaned on my “me time” tremendously. Whether it’s throwing a bath bomb in the tub and just soaking or lighting a candle and meditating for 30 mins. It’s helped! I find myself calmer, more attentive, and trying to find the joy instead of dwelling in the madness that’s been swallowing my light.
