Vintage! What else? Romantic, cottage, shabby chic, primitive, country, mid century modern, funky 70's, swinging 60's, toys, jewelry, clothes.... Whatever I run across that I think you might like as much as I do. Such a hodgepodge , but it's all fun.

Frequently asked questions
I see a label was purchased, but it still says pre-transit. When will it ship? I can't wait to get it!
If you're like me, you want your new "pretty" yesterday! 99% of the items sold from Just Vintage will ship the same day as purchased - except Sunday, of course. That's just how I roll. If it was purchased after 2 or 3 o'clock central time, it will probably move over to the next day's packages. I usually take things to the post office at 3:00. Also, I am occasionally gone from home all day trying to have a life - or more likely, out on the hunt for vintage. But rest assured, if a label has been purchased, it has definitely begun its journey to you.
Hey! This thing looks used! What gives?
Well, everything sold at Just Vintage is VINTAGE, which means it's at least 20 years old. Sometimes, it's still in the original packaging and unused, but it will generally show at least *some* kind of wear. I do try to show pictures of any wear or flaw or imperfection and disclose everything I see in the description. You did look at all the pictures and read the description, didn't you?
A note about some other shops using the word "vintage" when it's clearly new, mass produced, made in China, etc. This is technically not allowed on Etsy, which is for handmade and true vintage items only. Those shops are in the wrong. But it's an uphill battle for Etsy to try to keep them off the platform. So if true vintage is important to you, be alert.
I've received broken items before from poor packaging. How do you pack?
I've been shipping all types of items since 1998. I'll treat your $5 item the same as I treat your $50+ item. I spend a lot of money on bubble wrap and packing peanuts. I make sure anything breakable is VERY well padded and nothing can move inside the box. I wouldn't be afraid to throw the box down our 18 step stairs. That's a long haul for this old girl! Not that I would deliberately throw it, but if it dropped or something, I wouldn't be concerned. However, strange things can happen. A forklift can run over a box, or there might be a stress/fault/weak spot in glass or pottery that was invisible to the eye and maybe hitting the ground or a drastic change in weather caused it to break. I think I've had that happen once.
You don't sell outside the US?
I usually will if you ask. Not selling internationally has nothing to do with your country (unless it's one with a lot of reported mail problems) and everything to do with me. I've found through the years, that outside the US shipments cause me a lot of grief, either in time or money. And, like when I was in school taking a test, the harder I try to get it right, the worse I do.
Do you mind if I ask questions or ask for more pictures prior to purchasing?
Not at all! I'd much rather you be sure of what you're buying before hitting the buy now button. And occasionally I miss an important detail in the description and pictures. You did look closely at all the pictures and read the full description first, didn't you?
Shipping seems high on the item I'm interested in?
Shipping costs are killing us these days! The costs are going up and if something is longer or overall bigger than 12x12x12, then it's sticker shock for sure. I do calculated shipping. If it turns out I overestimated the weight or size, and it's more than a dollar or two less, I'll refund the overage to you. Usually, if I goof, it'll be underestimating and I eat the costs.
Can I return this? What's your policy?
Yes. With exceptions. Please, no returns on patterns or things that can be used or copied.
If something doesn't fit, of course. You decide you don't like it? Yes. But.... you pay the original and return shipping in these situations. In other words, you'll get a refund for the purchase price of the item only. No refund on the shipping.
If I misrepresented it, I'll send you a return label. But please be sure to read the description carefully and if I've inadvertently left something important out, please ask prior to purchase.
