I would not recommend this item. It is hard to understand and very difficult to follow the pictures. I work with cane and have been able to figure the design out, but if I didn't have the skill beforehand, I would have had a very difficult time. Beautiful design, it poor instructions.

Came very quickly. I've been admiring this basket for a long time and was pleased to see it on sale. I'm gave it as a gift, with a garlic bulbs to indicate what it is for and my friend loved it.

After 30 years of exhibiting in high end craft show, I am "off the road" , selling my baskets through my studio and my Etsy Shop.
I have made over 10,300 baskets and have kept a log of everyone who has ever purchased my work. I have baskets in many museums including the Smithsonian, the Museum of Art and Design, the Montgomery Museum of Art, the Asheville Museum of Art, the Columbia Museum of Art, and the Racine Art Museum. My highest honor came in 1997 when I was named a North Carolina Living Treasure, the states highest honor in the field of crafts.
PBS, HGTV, and CBS Sunday Morning have all featured my work. Many publications have also shown my baskets.
My resume and other information is available at www.brsbasket.com
My Carolina Snowflake, a design I copyrighted in 1986, have decorated three White House Christmas trees.

Basketry is actually Billie Ruth Sudduth's second career. She spent almost twenty years as a school psychologist. Fibonacci and the Nature Sequence is the inspiration for her work as her baskets are mathematically based, drawing on both careers.
I take pride in the quality of my workmanship. When you purchase my design, you know you are getting an original.
