About

Every Quilt Includes Hard Work and a Story

I started to attend a Mennonite church in NJ in 2013 where I have since become a member. A woman proclaimed her longing to have a quilting club. I told her how interested I was in learning as I had been dreaming of quilting for a few years prior. She came to my home, showed me what to do, and gave me homework. When she came back the next week and saw I did more than she expected, she had nothing more to really show me. It got to the point where she told me, "I think you need to give me some lessons!" She couldn't keep up with me or my work and said I should share my gift with others.

I began to make quilts for each of my family members (my children, parents, siblings, in-laws). Others started to reach out and said they wanted quilts too. Now I am selling to the public.

It is important to keep things affordable while allowing myself the ability to make a profit for my work. I love being able to connect with people and see the pictures they show of their family enjoying their quilts and putting them to good use.
