What is "Kabi"?
In Twi, a Ghanaian language, Kabi means “to take a bite.” Ghanaians have a rich and positive cultural heritage, therefore when we receive a bar of chocolate, we don’t eat it all by ourselves; instead, we share or pass it around for everyone to taste. This depicts Ghanaians’ warm and caring character. Because it is believed that “sharing is caring,” having everyone in the room take a bite and feel the chocolate represents friendship and a good heart. We started this business with that very sentiment behind it.
