Announcement   welcome to my etsy shop!!

All my jewellery is hand made by myself in my studio in Leith, Edinburgh. I mainly work with resin as I love the colours, patterns and finishes I can produce with this material.

I set magnets inside some of the pieces to create bangles which can stick together to build up sets, rings that you can swap their tops and necklaces that can be connected in various designs!!

For more information about what i'm up to and my other outlets have look on my website:

I hope your going to love my jewellery and my shop!!

Very pleased with these earrings. Smaller - and more elegant - than I expected. Have worn them a lot already.

About

KAZrobertson jewellery...how it happened x

I studied Jewellery at Edinburgh College of Art, and LOVED it. But at the time I don't think I ever really thought about how this could become my job...

After graduating I felt I was finding my style within my work, however I also knew my work needed more development and I wanted mored experience with the business side too. I was accepted to stay on at ECA to complete their postgraduate course. This year was invaluable as it allowed me to refine my jewellery designs and start to build up relationships with galleries. It was also during this time I was awarded money from the Deutsche Bank, alongside Donna Barry, which enable me to fund setting up my own workshop in Coburg House Studios.

There are lots of different aspects to this business, it's not just time spent at the bench making. I am constantly trying to keep my collections fresh by introducing new designs. How people find and purchase contemporary jewellery has changed a lot since I graduated, so I am always open to suggestions and directions, wether it be a new gallery, website, exhibition or event.

After being in business for over 14 years I feel grateful that this is my job. I still get excited about making and I think that this shows in my work.
