These hand painted cards are lovely. They are even more beautiful than they appear on line. They have a delicate and light brush stroke and I find them joyful. I originally purchased them to send as cards but have framed several. Lovely to give… lovely to keep.

My name is Karen Pokras, an author and now painter!

It all began when I started writing my latest novel. In hopes of understanding my main character better, a 12 year old boy who has a special relationship with color, I needed to understand my own relationship with color better. And so I started painting. A lot! Soon, I was completely addicted and found myself surrounded with stacks of floral canvases. So here I am, author and painter. Thanks so much for stopping by my shop.
