Announcement   Welcome to KJEwelry, featuring artisan-made and custom-designed jewelry. No two pieces are ever alike!

I specialize in semi-precious stones, precious metal clay (PMC), and wire-wrapping and use some of the best and unique stones I can find. All stones are hand-selected from vendors I have chosen from around the world. I also find new purpose for items like old coins and scrap copper in my work; they sell very quickly!

I have been a jewelry-lover my whole life and found myself buying unique jewelry items at art fairs. Wanting to find a new hobby, I began jewelry-making in 2003. I then found the precious metal clay product and have been hooked. I've completed the Level 1, 2 and 3 Certification courses and want to continuously learn the many ways to incorporate PMC into my jewelry. It is an amazing product. I create beautiful pendants by wire-wrapping due to my love for unique stones. I search for that one special stone each year while shopping at the numerous gem shows in Tucson and never bring home just one! I am also creating finer pieces of jewelry using wire (bangles and earring jackets) and have become addicted to Kumihimo. The Japanese braiding in both satin cord, leathers, and beads is fun and adds new dimensions to jewelry choices.

I participate in 5-10 art shows each year and am occasionally found in local galleries and shops. I host the annual Okoboji Bead & Jewelry Splash the last weekend of July in Spirit Lake, Iowa. Contact me if you'd like to be on the potential vendor list. I was also one of 50 artists in the Northwest Iowa Artisan's Road Trip (www.artisansroadtrip.com) held Oct. 8-9, 2016. Many of us are also part of exhibits throughout the next year. I currently have several jewelry pieces at Studio Virtu in the Sherman Hill Historic District of Des Moines.

Custom orders are always welcome. I enjoy doing pieces for special events or just because! Just convo (email) me with your thoughts and we'll come up with something totally unique and just for you.

Delightful! These jackets look great with my diamond earring studs. Both silver and gold wires; they can go with either silver or gold jewelry. They're well made and just what i was looking for.

Luxury! One of my most satisfying jewelry purchases ever! The photo doesn't do the necklace justice: it's much better than expected. Received quickly and carefully packaged. Thank you!

Paypal is the preferred method of payment and is due when ordering. If placing a custom order, 1/2 of the amount is due with the order and the balance due when shipped. We collect state sales tax which for Iowa is 6%.
Shipping
I ship USPS because they still ship on Saturdays! The flat shipping rate is $5.95; $1 for each additional item.
Refunds and Exchanges
Your complete satisfaction with your purchase is a priority. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 10 days in its original condition for a full refund.
Additional policies and FAQs
I take extra precautions in building my jewelry. I use extra heavy wire (but still flexible), double or triple crimp each end and use only quality materials and semi-precious stones. If for any reason your item breaks or becomes damaged within 6 months, please return the item and I will repair it at no cost to you (other than your one-way shipping cost). After 6 months, there will be a $25 charge plus the cost of any new materials to repair your item.
