About

When you're creative, you're never bored!

I started my shop as a way to channel my creative energies. I have an innate need to make new things and learn new skills. This way I can always justify the investment by producing items I can sell to others!

My house has designated areas for writing/designing, sewing, knitting, painting, drawing, jewelry making and of course, glitter (well, I try to contain it but it always amazes me how often I find glitter in unexpected places...) This set up works great for me because whenever I feel uninspired in one arena, I can quickly refocus to another project. This way I always feel like what I'm doing is exciting and productive- it's my way to beat 'writer's/artist's block'.

I find inspiration in everything. You'd laugh at how many times I'll see a color combination on random things, like a pair of flip flops and then I find myself incorporating the colors into my next work of Art. Although, having an undergraduate degree in Painting and a minor in Art History...I have to admit, the great artists have quite a bit of influence, as well.

The fun part about my shop, is you never quite know what you'll see for sale next but whatever it is, know that I thoroughly enjoyed the adventure of creating it.

Thanks for stopping by- Karen

Shipping
SHIPPING:
I ship USPS Priority. Depending on the shipping zone you live in, PRIORITY is 2--3 days in the mail. I mail within 24 hours of you ordering, on postal days. I try to be as efficient and quick as possible when shipping and attempt to ship the same day you order if possible, but please be understanding, with last minute requests for express shipping I will do my best to accommodate your request but some semesters I have a hectic teaching schedule- please order early to ensure timely shipping!

FYI- If you live in Texas- expect arrival in 5-7 days on Priority shipping- I'm not sure why it takes longer to get things to Texas from Chicago than to Alaska from Chicago...I've asked and the post office doesn't seem to know either... :-/

Whenever possible, I recycle boxes and packing elements! :)

EXPRESS shipping is available-- contact me for a quote.

INTERNATIONAL shipping is available- contact me for a quote.

Shipping fees are NOT refunded on returns.

I ship only after payment is received.

For Paypal: I WILL NOT SHIP TO AN UNCONFIRMED ADDRESS. IF YOU CAN'T CONFIRM THE SHIPPING ADDRESS A REFUND OF THE PURCHASE WILL BE MADE TO YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT. THIS IS TO ENSURE PROTECTION AGAINST FRAUD.
Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds less than 15 days from the purchase date on unused and undamaged items are accepted. Please contact me as soon as possible with your intent to return the item. Shipping fees, and Paypal fees are not refunded on returns.

FOR DIGITAL FILE PURCHASES:
Due to the digital nature of products, refunds are not offered. If, for any reason, you are not happy with your purchase please send me a message.
Additional policies and FAQs
The item you see in the picture is the item you will receive! I only list a finished item and I update photos each time a similar/duplicate item is listed.

CUSTOM ITEMS:
Custom items are available. Contact me with your ideas and photographs of your outfit and I will be glad to create something for you!

CUSTOM REQUEST PURCHASING:
If you request CUSTOM made items, you will have 48 hours after you have been contacted with the CUSTOM purchasing link (through ETSY) to purchase. After 48 hours, your custom item will be listed for the public to purchase (You can still purchase it, but so can the rest of the world).

You are not required to purchase a custom item if you are unhappy with the results- just let me know and I will list it for others to purchase!

FOR MASKS:
***Adding a handle or stick is available for some masks. Please contact me and I can let you know if the mask you're interested in can easily be converted. An additional charge of $5.00 and $2.00 extra in shipping. (The up charge is for the handle, extra felt required and labor. The shipping increases because the box size is larger and the box weighs more.)

I buy most items for creating mask on sale. When I get items at a discount price, I pass on the saving to customers- lucky you! (Prices will vary on some masks due to the price of elements that I purchase) On the flip side- custom orders that require specific elements will increase the cost of the mask.

Please be specific in the design of your mask. If after receiving the pictures of your custom order mask you require changes, the price of your mask will increase depending on the elements that are added or changed. Labor charges of $20.00 per hour will be prorated and applied.

**Some masks have glass elements. Use caution when wearing and store face up when not in use.

FOR HATS:
Custom sizes for most hats can be created if fabrics are available. I buy fabric when it is on sale in order to offer customers the lowest price. If I purchase for a custom order and the fabric is not on sale- prices will increase for your custom order. Contact me for a quote.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR YOUR HAT SIZE:

1. Make sure your hair is flat and out of the way. If it is tied back in a ponytail, braided or otherwise styled, it may interfere with your head measurement.

2. Place the end of a flexible measuring tape in the center of your forehead. If you do not have a flexible measuring tape, you can use string (or dental floss, in a pinch) and then lay the string next to a flat ruler to figure out your measurement.

3. Wrap the tape gently but snugly around your head to meet the end you're holding on your forehead. Keep it just above the tops of your ears, and make sure it goes around the largest part of the back of your head.

4. Pinch the part of the tape measure that meets the end on your forehead, and pull it away from your head so that you can look at it. The number on the tape measure will reveal the circumference of your head, which corresponds to your hat size.

WHOLESALE:
The prices I offer through ETSY are WHOLESALE prices. The prices offered here are less than prices offered in stores. If you are a Boutique wanting to stock items in your store, the prices listed here are the price they are available at and you are free to increase the price in your store for your customers. You will most likely save money on shipping if you order multiple items. Contact me for a quote on shipping for multiple items.

CONSIGNMENT:
I do not offer items for consignment.
