We escaped the rat race in 1996 to have a better work life balance. This involved starting a business making and selling wooden items for sale in local gift shops. ( this was in the days before the internet and facebook and even GOOGLE) It was a hard slog to make appointments and turn up at gift shops and find they are shut (Arrghhhhh). fast forward to 2015 and we went online to sell. The sales picked up and the slog became a steady paced way of life . I walk to work at the end of our garden to the workshop everyday. I can here the birds singing, the frogs croaking and the peace and quiet of rural living. No more fighting the traffic and the chaos of modern life. Help us to continue our way of life by buying your presents and gifts from our etsy store and website and lets hope life gets better for everyone like it has for us.
