About

What's it all about?

KaLaLu is a small business that was started by Nyssa Krull-Spilberg in November 2009. Nyssa is an independent artist in Chicago, and with an idea, a passion for art, and a little stubbornness, KaLaLu came to life.

The aim is to provide eco-friendly decorations and gifts to an earth conscious public. Items sold by KaLaLu are handmade, and created by re-purposing, recycling or renewing items that were previously tossed aside. Nyssa tries to limit the use of unnecessary or unnatural products in her work.

KaLaLu is now entering some vintage items to it's stock as well! It was getting a little crowded for them here, so we've opened another shop at:http://www.etsy.com/shop/VintageKalalu
