Former city girl disguised as a jewelry artisan in rural Hawaii...
I desperately needed a creative outlet as a child. Since I lacked drawing and painting skills, I became crafty. I dug holes in the backyard for clay so I could make little bowls and pots. I strung beads and made "stained glass" out of food coloring, toothpicks and Elmer's Glue. A chicken pot pie recipe in an old cookbook resulted in a four-hour experiment and a very late dinner for my family.
Today, my Kahili Creations are made from stones and metal. For inspiration, I look outside my windows. The beauty of nature is all around me, from the blue sky, azure waters, rainbows, black sand beaches and volcanoes of my island home. Even the air, fragrant with jasmine, ginger and plumeria, is magnificent. I see textures in the hardened lava, sea shells and leaves that will eventually translate into a piece of jewelry.
Many of the precious metal charms used in my jewelry are cast in the United States from designs and prototypes made by me. I make the prototypes using Precious Metal Clay (PMC) or using 3D software. I then hand-finish each casting piece before assembling them into jewelry.
Kahili Creations is honored to be part of the Etsy Wholesale marketplace. If you are a retailer interested in carrying my line, please contact me and I will send you a guest pass to view my wholesale offerings, which include designs not found on Etsy Retail.

My original designs and prototypes are cast by this company. I then hand-finish each raw casting piece using hand tools, polishing papers and/or tumbling and use a drill press to drill out the holes in the individual pieces.

Frequently asked questions
Is sales tax added to my order?
Hawaii residents, GET tax of 4.166% will be added to your order.
When will my order ship?
Items are shipped within 3-5 business days (unless stated otherwise in the item listing) via USPS First Class with delivery confirmation. Priority Mail upgrades are offered during checkout. Domestic orders over $100 will be upgraded to Priority Mail.
I do not ship on weekends.
Do you ship internationally?
I am only offering international shipping to select countries. Items will be sent via USPS First Class mail or USPS Priority Mail. Higher international shipping rates (USPS Priority or Registered First Class Mail) are due to that country's import restrictions on jewelry containing precious metal (sterling or fine silver) and/or gemstones, and include insurance.
International buyers are responsible for all duties, taxes, brokerage and handling fees applicable to purchases on the full retail value of the items. For items shipped, but not collected from Customs (refusal to pay the charges), a refund will be issued MINUS SHIPPING once it is returned.
Gift wrapping and packaging
All jewelry is boxed and ready for gift-giving. Your gift message will appear on the invoice, which will have no pricing information.
I am very experienced in wholesaling to both large retailers and small boutiques. Please contact me for access to my Etsy Wholesale line sheet.
