Bought these for a gift and she loved them!

I made a size 9 so I added some extra couple of rows in the sole as the pattern asked. But once I started in the round, should I have added more stitches around or decreased because of the extra rows? My mother in law LOVED them, by the way. These were so much fun to make. I used red heart super saver in heather grey, some tan color, and claret fleck. Super super cute.
