Welcome to my studio!
Howdy ya’ll! I’m Kristina Henning - a self-taught jewelry designer working out of a small studio in my hometown of Mauriceville, Texas.
I started my company in 2009 and opened my first shop, Kande, on Etsy the same year.
My focus is on creating beautifully crafted, high quality pieces of jewelry. I make each piece of jewelry by hand using various wire wrapping and metalworking techniques. Since I love a good sparkle, I only use high quality precious and semi-precious gemstones mixed with fine silver, sterling silver and 14k gold fill. This means that a large portion of my pieces are one of a kind and the rest are made in limited numbers.
I’ve been lucky enough to have my work featured on various blogs, websites, and in magazines. I also created the Pretty Palettes project for the September 2012 issue of Bead Style Magazine.
When I’m not working in the studio, I’m hanging out with my son, our two dogs (Freckles & Jojo), and a herd of rescued kitties who have taken over the barn (and our hearts).
If you get a chance, I would love to hear from you! You can find me online at:

* Jewelry Care
Each piece of jewelry is lovingly handmade just for you. Each piece of our handmade fine jewelry is unique and contains intricate details; many pieces contain beautiful yet delicate gemstones. These items must be treated with care and stored properly. They can easily be broken if dropped or mistreated. Jewelry should not be worn while sleeping or exposed to water while bathing, swimming, or washing dishes. Perfume, hairspray and similar substances can damage gemstones and metal. Gemstones should be protected from drastic temperature changes as well as strong detergents. Jewelry should NOT be cleaned with a sonic cleaner or other jewelry cleaner as this can damage gemstones. Jewelry and gemstones can be cleaned with a soft cloth and water.
I choose each gemstone and vintage component carefully to insure high quality products. Due to the nature of handmade jewelry and gemstones, slight variations are to be expected.
I strive to portray as accurately as possible the colors of the gemstones other components in our photographs. Photographs are taken in natural light. However, colors will and do vary with individual monitors and are subject to individual opinion. Please take a moment to fully read descriptions, determine lengths/widths, and approximate sizes before purchase. I encourage you to contact me with any questions or concerns you might have about a piece prior to purchase.
I reserve the right to cancel any order.
