Curated vintage and eclectic modern for you and your home.

Growing up in the 60s and 70s I lived in Cambridge, Massachusetts near Design Research, the revolutionary home furnishings store that helped introduce Scandinavian design to the United States. Memories of that store and its influence on the design world continue to be an inspiration.

I like color, texture and history. Kangaroomodern is a collection of vintage pieces I find at thrift shops, flea markets and estate sales that have something intriguing or unique about them and are generally well-made. When I get home I research and restore each piece as needed.

Kangaroomodern is named for my Australian roots but I'm based in New York. For a small fee I provide curbside delivery to the NYC metro area for all furniture items.
