Frequently asked questions
How often should I apply the face masks?
We recommend applying them anywhere from 1 - 3 times a week, but no more than that. The more oily your skin is, the more frequently you should use them.
How long should I wear the face mask for?
No longer than 15 minutes! In fact, clay masks are more effective if they are removed before they have dried. Overall, there are two phases to a clay face mask. In the damp phase, your skin absorbs all of the beneficial minerals and nutrients from the herbs and clay. In the start of the dry phase, the clay draws out the excess moisture from your skin and stimulates blood flow. If you let the mask fully dry, that can cause dehydration and irritation, which should be avoided at all costs.
How many masks come in a pouch?
Each pouch contains 3 - 4 masks (1 oz pouch). You only need to use 1tsp of the clay mixture each time you apply a mask.
What should I do with the pouch when I run out of masks?
Recycle, recycle, recycle! We are currently working on developing and implementing a zero-waste loop system into our business model but until then, we ask that you please recycle the pouches.
