I haven't put the umbrella covering on my electric folding-bike for I would have to remove it each and every time I want to take it on a trip with me. Also, since I joined a bike group which meets every Saturday, I do have to place it in my car. I think that I will be able to use it sometime which I will probably purchase a second and much smaller electric pedal assisted bike and use the smaller and lighter bike for trips and keep the main bike at home, which at that time, I will attach it. Worked with Pierre on this first generation prototype for recumbent trikes and he designed and made a canopy that hit all the requirements. Test ride turned out well and time will be the true test of this customized canopy. Pierre was a great communicator throughout the process and offered advice well past the initial purchase. Looking forward to working with Pierre on future products.
