Baby, you had me at the green tape! OK, so, I live alone. Did not know what was coming in the box, but when I opened it, I literally danced around in glee! They were just what I expected and I can hardly wait to get them hung on the wall... And I refuse to be embarrassed by my dancing and singing about these! Thanks!!!!!
I'm a creator-- a maker-of-things...
I opened my etsy store in 2011, when my home began to overflow with objects from my various installation sculptures. Because I often use the technique of casting, I sometimes end up with multiples (literally, sometimes hundreds) of an object. Because the work is temporary in most cases, I document the original work heavily, and have other artist friends document the work as well. Between the strange objects (pig heads, disembodied hands, smoke-fired eggs), and the intriguing and beautiful prints of the original work, I figured I had a store!
While these things have been popular, and have provided great spotlighting for my fine art, I'd say my lamps have by far been the most popular item in my store. After doing an installation of 33 hands mounted on the wall called Burnt Offerings, I was inspired to make my first lamp of a hand holding a light bulb.
Because I am a general maker-of-things, from time to time I use my store to try out different items/products/projects. It's a fun hobby for me, keeps me busy and helps fund future art works!

Because I do a lot of installations, I have to document my work thoroughly as sometimes it just doesn't exist anymore after its uninstalled! These images are images of my sculpture either documented by myself or someone else.
I've recently color-corrected my monitor, and man, does the world look different! Please keep this in mind as your peruse and purchase. All printed images should certainly be close to what you see on your monitor, however, keep in mind that tiny differences in monitor settings can influence the subtleties of an image.
