What can I say, but that I love the colors. Karin's colors are what always grab me first. I addition to this salad bowl set, I also have mixing owls and mugs. I get the best compliments when I bring them out to use. I'm sure I'll make another purchase in the future for myself or for a gift. Simply lovely!!

I decided to make some larger planters with hand painted designs. You can see how the under glaze colors change after being fired.
I've been working on adding some underglaze patterns to my pottery. Here is an abstract leaf mug before the first firing.

Handmade pottery

My process is relatively simple. All of my work is made on a pottery wheel. Once the clay is dry the pieces are bisque fired, glazed, and fired again.

My pottery is durable cone 5 stoneware meant to be used every day.
