5 out of 5 starsSister Karlyn's cards, notes and prints are sensitively designed, thoughtfully executed on quality papers and offer a wide variety expressions. A teacher as well as artist, she and her order are committed to social justice, and her art helps to support her community's efforts throughout the world. I love the grace and simplicity of her art, especially her work in the spirit of Shaker "gift," drawings. Her cards more than met my expectations. I will gratefully continue to purchase and share them with friends.

Sr. Karlyn's creativity began as a second grade teacher and, with the encouragement of her community, she went to the University of Wisconsin for a Masters in Art Education. More than 30 years of folk art expanded her creativity.
Sr. Karlyn is a Sister of the Divine Savior. The community "mission" is to share the fullness of Life. This "full Life" is seen in her expression of beauty through folk art displayed in homes and museums throughout the United States.
Currently, Sr. Karlyn offers a selection of notecards in packages of six. More listings, including original one-of-a-kind pieces, will be coming to Etsy soon.
