Artist's Statement: The Sea and Stars Collection

“We are made of stars, seawater runs through our veins. We are all connected. This collection explores this connection—from the fractals and astral shapes making up all from nebulae to coral reefs, to the interplay of color and form illuminating lovers—skin on skin; a shape swimming for dark water—striking out for distant lands.” - Kate Buckley
