Nice high quality colorful print; matches well to the birds we see at our backyard feeders. Looking forward to framing it for display.

Our daughter has a major Owl obsession; these pins were perfect for her back to school jean jacket. Thanks

About

Art & nature.

My two favorite things are creating art and being in nature. I live in Central Florida, where there is an abundance of trails, parks, and bird watching- from the woods, to the wetlands, and the beach.

I haven't changed much since I was a kid, where I spent my days drawing and running around in the woods looking for faeries. Now, I paint and go out in the woods with my binoculars and look for birds. (And I still believe in faeries.)

I started painting field guide charts to aid in learning to identify birds. I also paint a lot of bird nests, I enjoy these because they are mixed media and I get to collect little objects to put in the nests.

Before I began to focus on bird and nature art, I painted a lot of faeries and girls (in nature), I still paint these pieces from time to time when an idea strikes me. The style of my girls is influenced by anime and comic books.

From that you can probably tell I am also a nerd. I started reading comic books when I was 9 years old, followed by watching anime, reading manga, and a love of sci-fi and fantasy tv, movies, and books. I love watching tv series while I am painting.

My painting supplies are blocks of Arches watercolor paper and Winsor & Newton watercolor paint.

Everything I sell I create, print, and package from my home.

Wholesale availability

Wholesale orders are welcome. Please contact me to receive my linesheet. I can also be found on Etsy Wholesale.

Framing 13x19 prints

Fear not, no need for custom framing. The 13x19 prints fit directly into 13x19 ready-made frames available at Michaels, JoAnns, Amazon, etc. While there is a not a large selection for this size, those stores usually have 2-4 frames available to chose from. If you prefer framing with a mat, and also for a larger variety of ready-made frames, I suggest going up to an 18x24 frame. 13x19 for 18x24 mats can be ordered online (such as on Amazon) or you can have one custom cut at a frame shop.
