Hi, my name is Katie, and welcome to my shop: Katerpillar Design & Co.! I am very excited to have the opportunity to open an Etsy shop. I have always appreciated handmade goods, as they are truly one of a kind. I began making crafts as a way to keep my hands busy and my mind empty/quiet. I find the repetitive process an excellent way to relax and de-stress at the end of a busy day.
Since graduating from college last year, I’ve made a stockpile of various crafts that I didn’t know what to do with. So, I find myself here on Etsy with the hope that you’ll find some use out of my hobby as well! The items that I make are things that I use everyday and find very useful and cute. Gift wrapping and packaging
If you click 'This is a Gift' at check out, packaging will be the same, but a plain 3.5" x 2" card will be included for you to write a message to the gift receiver on.
If you have any special requests, please don't hesitate to ask me about them and I will see if I can accommodate.
Sizing details
Specific product measurements are listed in each product description.
Custom and personalized orders
Custom lengths are available upon request.
Keychains are in a 12 inch strip before they are cut down to make my standard size of 5.25 inches. If you would like the opening bigger or smaller, leave a message at checkout.
Lanyards are in a 42 inch strip before they are cut down to make my standard size of an 18 inch drop (36 inch strip). If you would like the drop length to be bigger or smaller, leave a message at checkout.
What warrants an exchange?
I will accept an exchange only if the product is defective (ex. the hardware is malfunctioning). I will not accept one if you "change your mind" about the pattern choice. As these are all homemade items, from start to finish, there will be small imperfections. A "wonky" stitch type of defect will not warrant an exchange.
Shipping Issues?
If there is a problem with the delivery of your order, it is up to you to contact your local post office for further information. Once the item is marked as shipped and a tracking number is generated, the package is deemed to have been dropped off at a mailbox and is out of my hands.
I forgot to change my address at checkout, what can I do?
A change of address notification needs to be sent to me within one hour of the purchase. After that time frame, there is no guarantee that the item has not been marked as shipped and a label has been created. It is up to the buyer to provide the correct address upon checkout.
