Custom Embroidery

I am a machine Embroiderer and seamstress.

I have a wicked eye for color and design. I digitize when I can, and support the talents of superior digitizers when I can’t. I love painting with thread and I have a mission: I want to make quality custom embroidery and I want to make lots of it, because I really love doing it! My goal is to make beautiful custom designed gifts and keepsakes affordable without compromising quality or craftsmanship.

Whatever look you’re trying to put together, complete it with embroidery! I’ll create a custom wall hanging to match your design theme, fill the empty space on your wall or match your color scheme. Want a cute makeup bag for your purse? A nice case to slip your sunglasses into? Making a memory quilt and need a couple appliqués to make it pop? Want some covers for handmade scrap books or photo albums? An embroidered tote bag or a dice bag? Trying to find a gift for a friend who has everything? How about a custom designed tree skirt unlike any other on the planet?! Need an altar cloth or a spread cloth for your cards? How about an awesome stash bag? The sky’s the limit when it comes to embroidery. If you have something in mind, even just a hint of something, tell me about it! Working together, we can bring life to your vision with thread!

I have sewn for years, starting when I was just a young pre-school age child and my Mom let me help her sew on buttons and pin trim on dress hems. Over the years, I’ve gotten not so bad at it, and it’s something I love to do.

I began machine embroidery in 2005 when I purchased my first Pfaff sewing/embroidery machine. That machine was replaced in 2012 with another Pfaff sewing/embroidery machine. And then in 2015, I graduated to the big girl machines and now do my embroidery on a Janome Horizon Memory Craft 12000 sewing/embroidery machine.

As photos are taken to show you the item before shipping, along with all dimensions and etc., all custom sales are considered final. If there is a problem, please talk to me and we will work something out! If the item is received damaged, I will file an insurance claim with the carrier and will replace/remake the item at no cost to you. Pay safely and securely using Etsy checkout. You can pay via PayPal, bank draft, debit card, credit card or Etsy giftcards.

My shop coupons are limited to one coupon per order, your choice of which coupon code you use if more than one coupon is available. There is no limit to the number of times you can use each coupon code -- as long as it hasn't expired!
I usually ship via USPS with a tracking number, although I sometimes use priority mail, UPS or Fed Ex depending on the weight of the package.

If your order includes anything framed with glass, it will absolutely be shipped insured. - Damaged items will be remade and reshipped (with new insurance!) after you send me a digital photo so I can file an insurance claim on it. There will be no additional charges to you for remaking and reshipping, I will get it back with the claim.

International Customers from the UK -- please be aware that you may be required to pay additional delivery or tariffs when you receive your order. I am told this is a VAT (Value Added Tax). To my knowledge this is only happening to customers in the UK. The international shipping that I am paying is inclusive of all shipping and handling, but apparently that does NOT include the VAT and they will not permit me to prepay it for you. So just please be aware and know that this is 100% out of my control.

Need it tomorrow? Rush shipping is available for an additional charge (at cost), contact me for details!

I can also ship it Priority or Priority Express for an additional charge (at lesser additional cost), contact me!
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom orders are welcome! In fact, they're pretty much the norm here! Please let me know what you're after and we'll get you squared away.

All items are made by me, in my non-smoking home. Although we are a smoke-free home, we are not a glitter-free home. Items in my shop may include trace amounts of glitter. Glittered items in my shop are guaranteed to include enough glitter to satisfy even the sparkliest of divas. There is never an extra charge for glitter. ;-)

Because I'm trying to keep things consistent and affordable, I try to keep my prices pretty standard. Generally I set prices based on the size of the embroidery, including the stitchcount, fabric used and etc. All items are made by me (other than apparel, towels, etc. that you send to me to embroider!). I do not buy blanks and embroider on them, I construct your items to order at the time you order them.

Smaller unframed wall art with unfinished edges usually runs $10-30, while larger is generally $25-50.

Hooped art starts at $27.50 for 5" designs. Larger rectangular designs with constructed framework are $45-60 based on size and number of layers.

Pillows -- I generally suggest to my clients that they purchase pillow forms off Amazon, and I will make them pillow cases to fit those pillow forms. This way you are only paying me for the cost to ship you the pillow cases! I will instruct you which pillow forms to purchase, in order to insure that you get a nice fit. I have samples in each of the standard sizes so that photos can be sent showing you exactly what your pillow case(s) will look like when you shove your pillow forms into them! :)

Bags, Pouches, Cases, Totes & Purses range in price based on size, fabric, features, etc. They range from a low of $5 to a high of $75. Most are in the $20-$50 range. As previously mentioned I construct all of these items to order, I do not purchase blank totes and embroider on them.

Two bags of identical size may be priced differently based on stitchcounts! If bag A has a 12,000 stitch design and bag B has a 56,000 stitch design, bag B IS going to be more expensive! Likewise, a bag made of cotton fabric is going to be cheaper than a similarly sized bag made of linen or microfiber, etc.

Embroidered apparel, towels, blankies, etc. are priced based on stitchcount, and the cost of the item being embroidered upon. (If you have the item shipped to me, the charge is based only on the embroidery. In most cases this will be $17.50 to $25 per item depending on stitch counts, etc.)

Please contact me if you have ANY questions on pricing.
