Posey ring, poesy ring, posie ring...call it what you will! Posey rings date back for centuries and were first given as engagement rings inscribed with sentiments of love. Through time the phrase "posey ring" began to refer to a ring with writing on it.

Still used as wedding and engagement rings, they are now used for promise rings, purity rings, and everyday fun reminders. The messages are up to you, so what kind of reminder do you need? ;)

The rings are made of solid sterling silver or gold and the versatile design looks great as a single ring, or stacked with others.

The lettering on the sterling silver rings is oxidized to make it darker.
The letter on the gold rings has an ink in the lettering. Please be aware that the ink will need to be touched up from time to time, as it is affected by acetone and things like hand sanitizers and alcohol. If you need to touch up the ink I recommend using a sharpie marker to color in the letters, and then use a polishing cloth to quickly wipe the excess from the surface. (I will include a small polishing pad with your purchase to make this easier for you.)

***FONTS:
This style of ring is ONLY available in the all uppercase block font pictured in the listing. It is tiny (about 1mm in size) but is readable. I love it, because it makes the message a little more private and personal for the wearer. *Lowercase is not possible for this width of ring.*

I can also stamp numbers, a heart, and a few symbols (:;!,=+&".-?/) If you are requesting a heart symbol, please signify it like this (heart symbol).

I will add a patina to darken the lettering unless otherwise noted. The rings undergo several steps to receive their final polish, and this usually results in a lower contrast between the dark lettering and shiny surface.

***MESSAGE LENGTH AND PLACEMENT:
Custom messages can be a maximum of 35 characters long (including spaces between words).

The message can be all on in the outside, all on the inside, or a combination. If your message is divided between the inside and outside of the band, the COMBINED total of character spaces should not exceed 35. For example, 25 on one side and 10 on the other.

These rings are stamped by hand, as such, letter placement will have a whimsical touch. This embodies the charm of a hand stamped piece and is not to be considered a flaw.

These dainty stacking rings are perfect for personalizing with your children's names, dates, or a meaning word of your choice.

Please set the style, metal, and quantity of rings you need from the drop down menu:

The rings are created from solid sterling silver or solid 14k yellow gold. I use round wire to create the band, but forge a small section at the top flat. It is on this flattened area that I stamp the word of your choice. I am now offering 2 different size styles. Please reference the 2nd photo in the listing to see a side by side comparison:

Teeny Tiny is about 1mm tall with a TINY 1mm lettering. (Very tiny!!)

Little Bigger is about 1.5mm tall with a little 1.5mm lettering.

The rings are TINY by design, with TINY lettering meant to be subtle. This style of ring will only fit up to 10 character spaces. Keep in mind that they may look large on your computer screen, but they are tiny :)

Tiny Cross Ring, Sterling Silver Cross with Angel Wings Stacking Ring by KathrynRiechert

These little rings are stamped with your choice of a tiny cross, or a cross with an angel wing on each side. They are designed to be a small ring for keeping your Christian faith present.

The price is for one ring made in your choice of ring size and with the design you like best.

It is made out of solid sterling silver. The band is about 1.5mm wide, slightly wider on the top where I stamp the cross design. The stamped designs have a patina added to oxidize them and help them to stand out from the silver surface. This little ring is stamped with a tiny little heart with a wing on each side. It's is designed to be a small memorial ring for keeping the memories of your special loved one close at heart. Gone but not forgotten.

This is my thin style of cuff bracelet handmade with your choice of metal, and with your chosen message. The bracelets are hand stamped with your choice of font (shown in the 3rd image of this listing).

Price is for one bracelet.

How it works:
You would purchase this listing and let me know what you would like on the cuff by writing in the 'notes to seller' box during checkout. You will see the box right before the submit order button.

Some details:
1. The cuff is about 3mm wide and 1/16" (2mm) thick. The metal strip is 6" in length and will fit most wrists. It will accommodate one line of text. This is a thin, but sturdy bracelet.

2. I will require payment before I start on the cuff. I work very hard to maintain a high level of quality on all of my jewelry and am confident in every piece I send out. That said, I cannot accept returns on custom pieces, so please be sure that you are happy with the quote you choose (and the spelling) before asking me to make it.

3. Click the 'Shipping and Policies' tab (under the photographs and at the top of the this description) for information on shipping times and my shop policies.

4. The tiny and little block fonts will allow for up to 80 character spaces. The happy font will allow for up to 70 character spaces.

5. It is possible to have your message all on the inside, all on the outside, or a combination of both. If your message is on both outside and inside, the character space limit should be split between both sides, for example, 60 spaces on one side and 10 on the other side. I will center the message on the outside, and start inside message to one end of the cuff.

6. I can stamp letters and numbers, as well as basic punctuation and a heart symbol. I cannot put accent marks over letters. If you would like a heart on your cuff, please signify it like this: <3 For example: I <3 you

7. If you have selected one of the block fonts, it will be stamped in all uppercase. If you have selected the happy font I will use the capitalization and upper/lower case combination that you have typed during checkout.

BRONZE - copper alloy that is more of a lighter pink color than copper, it will darken in color as it is exposed to the atmosphere, it will leave a green mark on your skin (harmless and easily washed off), polish with a polishing cloth

BRASS - copper alloy with yellow color, it will darken in color as it is exposed to the atmosphere, it will leave a green mark on your skin (harmless and easily washed off), polish with a polishing cloth

NICKEL SILVER - copper and nickel alloy that is NOT good for sensitive skin, it will slowly darken to a steel grey color, it will leave a green mark on your skin (harmless and easily washed off), polish with a polishing cloth

STERLING SILVER - solid sterling silver (not plated), it will tarnish (please refer to the jewelry care card included in your purchase), it will only react with your skin if you are allergic to sterling silver, polish with a polishing cloth

Did you know?
The most common way to damage a cuff is to repeatedly bend the metal back and forth in the same spot (which creates a line of stress which will eventually crack.) If you need to form the bracelet to your wrist, try to distribute the stress by bracing the cuff with your thumbs on the inside.

These little silver stacking rings are the perfect way to commemorate an important date! The tiny 1mm style is VERY TINY! Its small lettering is not the best choice for everyone. Please reference a ruler first if you are considering the TINY 1mm style.

The bigger 1.5mm style is my personal favorite. It is a small ring, but the numbers are more easily readable.

The 2mm (largest) style has a nice hefty thickness/weight with the largest font size for the numbers.

Smooth like butter is right! This style of ring has a super comfortable curve, and a nice heavy thickness. Add to that the fact that they can be personalized with your own message and they are just about perfect :)

Posey rings date back for centuries and were first given as engagement rings inscribed with sentiments of love. Through time the phrase "posey ring" began to refer to a ring with writing on it.

My lines of posey rings are stamped with uplifting and affirmational words and phrases. They are solid sterling silver. Rings can be stacked. Perfect for yourself or to give as gifts. The versatile design looks great alone or together with other rings. The bands are about 3mm tall.

These rings are custom made with the message of your choice. I make several versions of message rings, however this is one combines the the weight of the heavier bands with the size and look of my thinner versions. The rounded curves of this style make for an extra comfortable ring.

The text is *tiny* (under 1mm) and is an all uppercase font.

***FONTS:
This style of ring is ONLY available in the all uppercase block font pictured in the listing. It is tiny (about 1mm in size) but is readable. I love it, because it makes the message a little more private and personal for the wearer. *Lowercase is not possible for this width of ring.*

I can also stamp numbers, a heart, and a few symbols (:;!,=+&".-?/) If you are requesting a heart symbol, please signify it like this (heart symbol). I do not have a degree symbol to use (for coordinates) however I have found that a dot works well in its place.

I will add a patina to darken the lettering unless otherwise noted. The rings undergo several steps to receive their final polish, and this usually results in a lower contrast between the dark lettering and shiny surface.

***MESSAGE LENGTH AND PLACEMENT:
Custom messages can be a maximum of 35 characters long (including spaces between words).

The message can be all on in the outside, all on the inside, or a combination. If your message is divided between the inside and outside of the band, the COMBINED total of character spaces should not exceed 35. For example, 25 on one side and 10 on the other.

These rings are stamped by hand, as such, letter placement will have a whimsical touch. This embodies the charm of a hand stamped piece and is not to be considered a flaw.

Rings will be made exactly as written (aside from quotation marks). If you want the quotation marks included you will need to mention that in a statement such as 'Please include the quotation marks.'

I cannot accept returns on custom orders, so please make sure the text, spelling, and size you request are accurate.

If you order the wrong size, a local jeweler should be able to size ring(s) for you, or I can resize them for a fee.

After I have received your order, changes might not be possible. For this reason, a fee to cover time and materials (usually $10-$20) will apply if the change requires me to start over on your piece.

Personalized Bracelet, custom hand stamped sterling silver cuff with your chosen message, stacking bracelets by KathrynRiechert

My most popular thin stacking bracelets now have a choice of fonts!!! The cuffs are a thin, but sturdy size, great for stacking with other bracelets and personalizing with your custom hand stamped message.

How it works:
You would purchase this listing and let me know what you would like on the cuff by writing in the 'notes to seller' box during checkout.

Some details:
1. The cuff is made out of solid sterling silver. It is about 3mm wide and 1/16" (2mm) thick. The metal strip is 6" in length and will fit most wrists. It will accommodate one line of text. This is a thin, but sturdy bracelet.

2. Price is for ONE cuff bracelet.

3. I require payment before I start on the cuff. I work very hard to maintain a high level of quality on all of my jewelry and am confident in every piece I send out. That said, I cannot accept returns on custom pieces, so please be sure that you are happy with the quote you choose, spelling, and punctuation before asking me to make it.

3. Click the 'Shipping and Policies' tab (under the photographs and at the top of the this description) for information on shipping times and my shop policies.

4. The tiny and little block fonts will allow for up to 80 character spaces. The happy font will allow for up to 70 character spaces.

5. It is possible to have your message all on the inside, all on the outside, or a combination of both. If your message is on both outside and inside, the character space limit should be split between both sides, for example, 60 spaces on one side and 10 on the other side. I will center the message on the outside, and start inside message to one end of the cuff.

6. I can stamp letters and numbers, as well as basic punctuation and a heart symbol. I cannot put accent marks over letters. If you would like a heart on your cuff, please signify it like this: <3 For example: I <3 you

7. If you have selected one of the block fonts, it will be stamped in all uppercase. If you have selected the happy font I will use the capitalization and upper/lower case combination that you have typed during checkout.

Price is for ONE cuff bracelet.

Did you know?
The most common way to damage a cuff is to repeatedly bend the metal back and forth in the same spot (which creates a line of stress which will eventually crack.) If you need to form the bracelet to your wrist, try to distribute the stress by bracing the cuff with your thumbs on the inside.
