Wow! The topo art is so effin cool! I bought this as a wedding gift for someone that is really into maps and hiking/nature and it was a brilliant fit - the friend was over the moon about it and thought it was such an awesome and unique gift and something way better than serving spoons on a registry. It's such an awesome piece that I'm considering buying one for myself as well - Katie even let me know that there are some new ones in the works with different topo maps and subjects; once they come out the hard part will be deciding which one to buy. Also, as a side note, Katie was a joy to interact with throughout the purchasing/ordering process - you can tell she actually cares about you and her art and wants to make sure everything is great. She answered my questions and was super nice too. Def recommend!

Beautiful print! Seller/artist had good communication. Shipping was delayed due to some issues, but seller promptly refunded shipping charge without being asked. Great experience overall. Would do business with this seller again any time!

About

Exploring mountains by foot and mediums by hand

A few years ago I up and left Philadelphia for Portland, Oregon to be closer to the mountains I crave and to push my limits as an ultrarunner. I am always motivated by what could be around the next bend and I have found home exploring as many miles of mountain trails as possible.

After spending over 8 years running my other Etsy shop, Cultivar, I am getting back to my roots as an illustrator. I am currently experimenting and trying to find my style as a painter again.

I am fascinated by the patterns and designs made with the lines on topography maps and love pairing them with the inspirations I seek in nature. I am new to metalsmithing and am excited by all the possibilities to learn and create.
