Katie did an amazing job on the portrait of my granddad. Captured her perfectly. I would highly recommend her, the quality is fantastic. The frame she did for the portrait is beautiful, my expectations were beyond met. Thank You Katie for an amazing job.

The mountain lion is just gorgeous! For the price I was hoping for a little better card stock, but they are still beautiful.

The thing about Katie's art is this: What you see on your screen when you're ordering is the palest shadow of what you hold in your hand when it arrives.

I absolutely love these brilliant pictures. The artist's brilliant use of color draws the eye and takes one into the beautiful scenes. They are well worth the price and I will certainly buy from this artist again.

Vermont Nature Artist Donating Portion of Sales to Wildlife and Habitat Conservation
My primary concern in the rhelm of conservation is the tremendous speed with which we are losing biodiversity on this planet. My goal is to help slow this down - hoping one day for recovery of the richness of our natural environment. To do this, I am focusing on donating to organizations where endangered species and habitat conservation are primary focuses. The main organizations that I have chosen to support are listed below. I have always been leary of donating monetarily, worrying that the money will not get to where I had intended. As such, I have negotiated an arrangement with these particular organizations to ensure that the proceeds from my art sales are going directly to the purchase of specific items of need - collars for Wild Dogs, camera traps, night vision cameras, trackers for birds, etc. - that I ship directly to the project locations personally. That way, no money ever exchanges hands, only the project needed items are, to fight a specific cause, and all the good intentions that accompany them - both from myself and the clients purchasing my artwork.
The Peregrine Fund works nationally and internationally, to conserve birds of prey in nature. Established in 1970, they conserve nature by achieving results--results restoring species in jeopardy, conserving habitat, educating students, training conservationists, providing factual information to the public, and by accomplishing good science. They succeed through cooperation and hard-work, using common sense, being hands-on and non-political, and by emphasizing solutions. They are also cost effective--100% of all donations go directly to programs.
American Bird Conservancy (ABC) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit membership organization which conserves native birds and their habitats throughout the Americas by safeguarding the rarest species, conserving and restoring habitats, and reducing threats while building capacity in the bird conservation movement.
