Some years ago a package from Tibet arrived at our center. When we opened it, we gained a glimpse into a rich culture as we unwrapped turquoise and coral pendants set it silver, sacred golden images adorned with lapis, and prayer beads of seeds and semiprecious stones. We sold these items to bring in much-needed funds for the center.

Then we started looking to our own creative talents. The dharma being new in Louisiana where we first began, people came and went, each bringing a new idea or talent. Some have remained constant as they developed a deep connection and enthusiasm for meditation and spiritual practice.

A number of us already had long-standing use of creative talents- printmaking, painting, woodworking, photography, and jewelry making. Now we put these energies into making items to sell on Etsy so that we can support our centers. We make malas and products that can be used to further meditation practice and spiritual growth.

These are our goals: To work on inner transformation which will result in transformation of the outer. We make these items with this and you in mind.
