“Nobody is bored when he is trying to make something that is beautiful, or to discover something that is true. ”

I started making jewelry with two goals in mind. The first was to find a creative outlet and the second was to prove that being disabled wasn't going to define my life.

I have narcolepsy. Which, if you believe what pop culture has shown you, means I fall asleep mid-conversation then go on as if nothing happened. That is definitely not the case.

People with narcolepsy (PWN) suffer excessive daytime sleepiness. No matter how much sleep we get, it isn't enough. Our brains don't produce melatonin and so our sleep isn't regulated. We are always (and I do mean always) exhausted.

Many PWN, like myself, also suffer from cataplexy. Cataplexy is a sudden loss of muscle tone. This can range from slurred speech and drooping eyelids to full body collapse with temporary paralysis. At times it is funny, but mostly it's just a pain, literally and figuratively.

With the love and support of my wonderful family, I've come to understand myself and find ways to work around the challenges having narcolepsy creates. And working with silver has given me a great new perspective. I can twist it, mark it, and mold it, but it will always be silver. What I create with the silver, however, is up to me. And I've chosen to create something beautiful.

I ship daily, Monday through Friday but please allow up to one week for your jewelry to be made. Larger orders may take longer.

I ship wherever you want your purchase to go.

I use recycled shipping materials whenever possible. Gift boxes are composed of recycled material and decorative ribbon is 100% biodegradable. I also try to reuse shipping envelopes that are still in good condition. If you prefer a new envelope please let me know.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are unhappy in any way, please contact me through etsy and I will do my best to fix any mistakes. I'm not happy until you are completely satisfied with your jewelry and overall shopping experience.

Please bear in mind that each piece is hand cut, polished and stamped. Slight variations in letter spacing or alignment are not considered errors but instead add to the handmade, custom feel of every piece. (Like that scar you hate but everyone says lends you a certain charm. They're right!) Just as you are the only you, every piece is unique and slight imperfections add to their charm. That being said, I will never send you anything I wouldn't be proud to wear myself.

Over time your jewelry may tarnish. That is why I enclose a mini polishing cloth with every piece. The oxidation (blackening of letters and designs) may also fade over time. This is part of the normal aging process of sterling silver and not considered a defect.
Additional policies and FAQs
All personalization will be done exactly as you type it. So please double check your spelling and capitalization.
Example: "PAIGE" would be stamped in all uppercase. "Paige" would be uppercase P and the rest in lowercase. And "paige" would be all lowercase.

If you wish to place a bulk order (three or more of the same item) please convo me for price and time estimates. (My intial and name necklaces make great bridesmaids' gifts.)
