MY PASSION IS HANDIWORK

Warm greetings to you from the garden city of Singapore ! Opened in 2014, I'm the designer behind KawaiiCraftCottage. Making miniatures require lots of patience and concentration since miniatures are really tiny, they can get very messy and difficult to handle. In my opinion, making miniatures is equivalent to meditation . When Ms Katie of "The Dolls' House Magazine" featured one of my miniatures work in August 2015 Issue 207, I was extremely overjoyed ! Some of my designs are limited to just 1 piece, it's OOAK (one of a kind). If I make another piece, no 2 pieces will look exactly the same. I have strict quality control over my creations, so each item is great for gift.

I hope my creations bring smiles to many people in this world.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
Buyers are responsible to read the product description before purchase. Items are described very clearly on size, quantity, material, etc. I use a very high end camera to photograph and describe the products as accurately as possible, however, things may look different on every computer screen. If unsure, contact me for more information on the product before purchasing.

If you are not satisfied with your item, you may return it unused, in its original condition for a refund, but the shipping charges are non-refundable. Item must be returned within 7 days of receipt, and customer is responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

1) contact me immediately upon receiving the item.
2) return the item to me by registered mail with tracking number, in its original condition, properly wrapped to avoid damage.
3) refund (less the cost of shipping) will be processed once I receive the returned item.

Any damaged item in the package must be reported to me within 2 days of receipt, together with photo of the damaged item. Shipping charges cannot be refunded.

I am not responsible for postal delay especially during year end festive season and bad weather condition (winter snow storm etc). Refund is not applicable for delayed postal delivery.

For any unclaimed package that has been returned to me:
I will refund for the cost of item, but shipping charges are non-refundable since it has been used for postage. If buyer wants me to reship the item back, buyer is responsible for reshipping fee.

The possibility of losing a package is less than 1%. But if you happen not to receive your package after 20 working days from date of shipping, contact me and I will request SINGPOST to investigate. When an investigation is open between the postal agencies in both countries, it can take up to 3 months before case is solved. Only when a case is solved, a full refund is done.

Ironically, very often when postal claim is filed, customers got their packages within a few days. This means the package was hoarded by their local post office / custom office. Sometimes I get "unclaimed" package returned to me when customer said they have not received anything from their post office. Therefore confirm with your post office that they are not holding back your package before filing a postal claim.

Shipping

Please do not bargain on the shipping fee since I don't earn profit on it and I ship all orders by registered airmail with tracking number and signature is required upon delivery. If you are not home when the package is delivered, please contact your post office for re-delivery. Combined shipping is available for multiple items. See the combined shipping fee in your shopping cart before payment.

*** SHIPPING ADDRESS ***
Please check your shipping address is correct at the point of purchase as I am not responsible for any incorrect details. If you wish to send gift to another person, write the name & address in the remarks column when you checkout your shopping cart.

*** MODE OF SHIPMENT ***
Orders are shipped within 3 business days upon payment clearance (excluding bulk / custom orders). No shipments on weekends and public holidays. All items are checked and well packed to reduce handling mishaps by the postal services. International orders will be declared as "GIFT" on the custom declaration form to avoid taxes. No invoice is attached in your package.

I ship by Singapore Post (SINGPOST). When your package arrives in your country, your postal service provider will take over (example: Italy = Poste Italiane, Germany = Deutsche Post, USA = USPS, Japan = 日本郵便, etc).

*** DELIVERY TIME ***

For registered airmail tracking:
Allow 48hrs for Singapore Post update before tracking is available. Once package arrived at "Destination Post", you need to check with your postal service provider (example: USA = USPS, Italy = Poste Italiane, Germany = Deutsche Post, Japan = 日本郵便, Netherlands = PostNL, etc).

*** OTHERS ***
We have no control on the shipping time, but you have control on the shipping method to use. If you need your items urgently, please upgrade to Courier service. Otherwise buy in advance to avoid postal delays. Mobile number must be provided when choosing Courier service. Please request if you are interested in Courier service.

Buyers are responsible for the customs duties in your country (if any).

Additional policies and FAQs
Please do not give negative feedback due to slow postal delivery or postal problem. Negative feedback on delivery service should be reported to your post office. It's really unfair as you should understand that once a package is shipped, it is entirely out of my hands and beyond my control. Since I do not have the capability to personally deliver your package to you, let us depend on our country's postal staff to do that. In some countries, postal delivery is very problematic. (example: Russia, Brazil, Italy postal service can take up to 3 months and during winter season postal deliveries tend to be slower).
