Announcement   MUST REDUCE SOME INVENTORY - DON'T MISS MY YEAR-END CLEARANCE SALE THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2016.

~ Fair Offers Always Considered. ~

I started my creative endeavor, KAY CREATIVES (www.kaycreatives.com), out of a love of jewelry and a passion for up-cycling broken, vintage, costume jewelry into new, modern treasures. I am now expanding into candle-making for special occasions, and the creation of up-cycled china and glass for partyware. I sell some of my creations here on ETSY, as well as other great vintage jewelry, arts, and crafts. Custom Design Service is Available.

I am also selling the remaining inventory of my mother's OOAK Angel Creations. When she was alive, she created lovely, adoring Angels which she sold at local arts & crafts fairs, and for hospital gift shops in western Pennsylvania. She was a beautiful artist, and she is my continuing inspiration.

I opened my second ETSY shop - DON'T THROW STONES (www.etsy.com/shop/DoNotThrowStones/) - where you will find my Antique & Vintage China & Glassware. As my china and glass listings expire in this shop, they will be relocated to my new shop to make room for more of my custom pieces here.

About

KAY CREATIVES - Elegant Vintage Jewelry Designs

I have a Ph.D. in English and have taught English both at the college level and in a private high school academy. When the American economy turned upside down in 2008, I lost my full-time job. In junior high and high school, I sewed everything I wore and at one time considered making Home Economics my major in college, so now I have the opportunity to pursue my other life's passion - creating beautiful treasures out of objects from the past. I work with antique and vintage costume jewelry, "re-purposing" old pieces into new ones. My acrylic bracelets are simply fun to imagine and create. My charm bracelets become wonderful objects of art as I add each new piece to the designs. My one-of-a-kind designs are made with love from the heart. I hope you find something that sparks you heart's desire.

My creations are one-of-a-kind. I am working with antique and vintage costume jewelry, "re-purposing" old pieces into new ones. My acrylic bracelets are simply fun to imagine and create. My charm bracelets become wonderful objects of art as I add each new piece to the designs. I am also modifying the old Annie Laurie wooden hand-painted purses with some elegant pieces of jewelry, and I am working on my "Pin-Ups" - skirts fashioned from re-cycled t-shirts and adorned with vintage pieces of jewelry. Please come back and visit often as my items are works-in-progress, and there will be new things appearing often.

My designs are made with love from the heart. I hope you find something that sparks you heart's desire. I appreciate your stopping by today.

Payment
My shop now uses ETSY's Direct Checkout method of payment, so you can pay with a credit card or with PayPal. I also accept ETSY Gift Cards. I also offer my own Shop Gift Cards for purchase and use as payment in my shop only.

Payment is due immediately upon purchase of any one of my items. If you want to purchase an item but cannot make payment immediately, contact me and I can put it on "reserve" for you. We can discuss terms of payment through the conversation tool in ETSY.

6.1% SALES TAX is charged only on sales of items to Arizona residents.

If you purchase an item, and then have to cancel the purchase, the cancellation fee is $2.00.
Shipping
Glass and Pottery pieces are bubble-wrapped, padded, etc. to insure a safe delivery. I try, when possible, to use recycled packing materials. I also INSURE ALL of these pieces, so there is a $2.35 "handling charge" for the shipping insurance.

I ship generally every day of the week via the USPS. I WILL INDEED REFUND any excess shipping costs that you may have paid once I have an item packed and weighed for shipping to your postal code.

BEGINNING ON MARCH 1, 2016, my shop will start using ETSY's "Calculated Weight" Shipping Option.

All items ship with a confirmation tracking number which I will provide to you when I ship your item(s). That way you can track your shipment, and if the item does not arrive within 10 days to 2 weeks, you can check with you local post office to see if the item has been lost during shipping.

I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO COMBINE SHIPPING ON MULTIPLE ITEM PURCHASES AND WILL FIND THE MOST ECONOMICAL MEANS OF SHIPPING TO YOU FOR THE BEST PRICE.
Refunds and Exchanges
Unless I have grossly misrepresented an item in the listing description, I feel confident you will be pleased with your purchase(s). However, if you need to return an item, you, the buyer, are responsible for return shipping costs. Requests for returns must be made within 14 days of the receipt of the item. Returns must be in the same condition as I sold them.

If an item is damaged during shipping, then you should file a claim with the USPS. I pad, bubble-wrap, and secure my items to hopefully prevent any damage during shipping, but once I place the item in the hands of the Postal Service, I can not guarantee what happens after that point, which is why I insure ALL FRAGILE ITEMS.
Additional policies and FAQs
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Please be aware that your home country may charge you IMPORT DUTY TAXES on items purchase from foreign countries. This cost is NOT charged through ETSY's shipping calculator because this cost varies from country to country, and even item by item. It is YOUR responsibility to know if your country charges this kind of tax on the item(s) you may decide to purchase from my store.
