Love this towel holder! Looks so cute and now my towel isn't constantly falling off my oven handle! Thanks!

i am so glad i ordered the reusable cotton rounds. the yarn used to make the is soft yet durable- i've already washed and dried them twice and they are holding up well. they do curl up around the edges, but that's more from use. i use them for toner, and although it takes a second or two for it to absorb it soaks well. it feels good against my face which is especially sensitive. this is a good investment; trust me [:

About

It all began with a road trip...

When I was not quite nine years old, my family took a vacation with my grandmother. I sat in the back of the van with her and watched her working on a crochet project. I remember watching her fingers and the hook weaving in and out of the yarn and suddenly I thought: "I think I can do that!" I asked my grandma if she could teach me. I was a quick study and have been crocheting ever since. But it wasn't until my own children started coming into the world that I became truly addicted to the craft. When I found Etsy, I was so excited to have a way to share with others. (And my husband is happy too because now my projects actually get sent to others and don't take over our house quite so much!)

I love creating items using soft yarn and textures that make people want to reach out and touch them. I made a little afghan for one of my nephews when he was born and it is the cutest thing ever to see how he "needs" that blanket. He loves to get his little fingers into the yarn and pull it right up to his face. That's what I hope to accomplish with all of my crochet pieces--I want someone to "need" them.

I am inspired by each of my children and many of my hats and accessories have been made with them and their favorite colors or hobbies in mind. I also babysit four other kids during the day which is great to have littler ones to contribute to my ideas, especially as my own kids are growing up so quickly.

The thing that I have enjoyed most about selling on Etsy is the growth that I have experienced as a result. My talent and creativity expands with each piece I create and I am happy to pass that on to others.

I am a Michigan momma of five beautiful children and wife to a wonderful, supportive husband. My love of crochet began in childhood when the women around me taught me the magic of the craft. I am happy to have a place to share my creations.
