Frequently asked questions
♥ Can I open/edit these from my IPhone?

No, open from your computer or laptop only. These cannot be opened/edited from a hand held device, iPhone, or iPad

♥ Can I open/edit with an older version of Adobe Reader?

No, you need to have the newest version to open/edit/save these files. You can download it for free by going to http://get.adobe.com/reader/
The newest version is Adobe Acrobat Reader DC

♥ I get an error message/ asking for a password when I try to open the files?

This can happen when you try and open the files from a program other than Adobe Reader. When opened from Adobe Reader you will not get any error messages.
Other reasons for error messages are:
~ trying to open files that are still ZIP files. If your files arrived in a ZIP folder you need to unzip all files first.
~Trying to open in editing programs such as Photoshop or Illustrator (the files are password protected and cannot be opened in image editing programs).

♥ Can I open from a MAC or Windows 8?

Yes, but be sure to open directly from Acrobat Reader, not from MAC’s default PDF viewer called PREVIEW. Note: Double clicking on a PDF file on a Mac will open it in Preview even if you have Adobe Reader installed. I recommend opening the files directly from Adobe Reader itself. To do this: (1) In Adobe Reader, click on File – Open. (2) Navigate to the folder where you saved the downloaded PDF files and select them.
~ Windows 8 users – open directly from Adobe Reader, do not open from Windows default PDF viewer called “Reader”

♥ Can I alter the image graphics?

No, you can only personalize the files in the designated text areas. You cannot change the images or layout of the designs. You cannot add images or photos into the files. These files cannot be re-saved as Jpg files or be opened using photo editing software programs.

♥ Can I take to a company to have them printed?

Yes, save all the files that you want to print onto a flash drive. Check first to be sure the company can print PDF files. Companies that should be able to print are: office supply stores such as: Staples (in the USA, not Canada), Kinkos, Office Max, Office Depot, Officeworks (Australia).
You cannot have them printed at photo labs such as Walmart’s or CVS as they cannot print PDF files.

♥ Can I make products to sell using these files?

No, these are for your personal use only, or to give as gifts.

♥ Will the colors match exactly?

Colors may be slightly different depending on your printer/printer settings. Colors on your computer screen monitor may appear slightly different when printed. Test print one page, and adjust your printer as needed. Make sure you have the print setting set to best photo, and that your printer has not run out of any ink colors. If that does not work you may have to calibrate your monitor with your printer. You can get more information by doing a Google search for “how to calibrate your monitor”.
