Announcement   The items I create are done so on a wood lathe, crafted only with high quality materials. This is a hobby that has turned into a passion for promoting extremely high quality craftsmanship. The mechanisms I use, along with the hardware, are of the finest quality. The woods are of a vast variety, ranging from the common to exotic and rare. My goal is to bring out the grain in its natural state. My works go through a stringent process of sanding and polishing, using different grades of sandpaper and assorted chemicals to bring out a natural sheen that only improves with age and use. The hardware is usually chrome, black enamel, gun metal, rhodium, satin gold or silver, copper, or 24kt gold. These are made specifically for use in high end quality hand crafted items.

I did not set out to start a business. I am a disabled American veteran, forced into retirement because of my disability. Therefore, I am not able, nor do I have any other longings for another profession. The primary purpose in offering my work is to share the craftsmanship of professionally made items that can be used with pride, and then passed on to future generations. Therefore, everything I make is intended to be a custom made project. Each is a one-of-a-kind instrument. There is not another like it anywhere. Having been hand turned by me on a lathe, with a creative eye toward the creation of a piece of art that reflects my passion for woodwork, these items are sure to bring enjoyment and pride to the discriminating in taste. The process I use is not fast. Each item requires days to create and finish. There is no automation here. My work is handcrafted with pride of workmanship. Thus, you can buy with confidence, knowing that you are getting the highest quality that individual craftsmanship can produce.

Gave this to my husband as a retirement gift for the police force. He loved it! Also really like your bolt action rifle 30 cal pen. Wish it were available blackened instead of the pewter. You have beautiful pens, they write nicely as well.

This shop began as a suggestion from my daughter after having used the pen I had given as a gift. Turning wood became a new-found hobby when I retired from teaching high school English. I have always loved natural wood grain. Working with different kinds of wood brings me pleasure as I bring about a finished product that is unique in its beauty and design. My writing instruments are one-of-a-kind. I do not own or use a duplicator. So, you can be assured that yours is yours alone, without another of the same exact fashion or design. I use all sorts of wood and acrylic. I plan to experiment with other materials in the future. The mechanisms and metal hardware are of the highest quality, designed to last a lifetime, with easily obtained refills. Because of the meticulous care I take in crafting my writing instruments, I often hear others comment that they are perfectly unique and are objects of beauty. You will find various prices due to the time it take to craft each individual instrument, and the cost of the materials used. Thank you for perusing my wares! I hope you find something that suits your individual personality and desire.
