Note from shop owner Thanks for stopping by! I'm on hiatus for about a month or so due to crazy busy hours at work and the hectic-ness of the holidays. I apologize if you were hoping to order gifts for friends and loved ones this year, but I'm just not going to have enough time to make sure they're perfect without feeling rushed and stressed (which doesn't help when wanting to put out a great product!). Thank you for your understanding - come back in January and check out what I have to offer then! Hopefully we'll be able to work together soon! :) - Kelly

Kelly creates beautiful custom stained glass candleholders/vases . This is my second large order from her and she delivered in a beautiful, colorful timely manner. nKelly is excellent with her communication and the final product is stunning. Several of these D'Andrea candleholders were very well received gifts. Thanks Kelly, I wish you continued success and the very best!

I can only highly recommend Kelly for her excellent customer service, with updates along the way. She created a wonderful stained glass set wtih gradations of colors which we had discussed in a set of 3 D'Andrea candleholders. Her work is meticulous and her creation a radiant piece of functional art. I definitely will order from Kelly again !

About

A love affair with glass

I love playing with glass. I love cutting it, gluing it, wrapping it in foil & soldering it together, getting grout in my fingernails, the whole nine yards. I love having an idea in my head and watching it come to life before my very eyes, and the feeling of accomplishment I get when I finish a project - whether it be a small, custom tea-light holder or the surface of my coffee table - knowing that little old me created the very thing that is in front of me.

I got my start in community college in 2002 and just made small gifts for friends here and there until they urged me to start selling my goodies. Luckily at that point, Etsy came around and allowed me to reach people I wouldn't have had the chance to otherwise. Since I began, I've steadily increased my sales and custom orders and I welcome any and all opportunities to play and create with glass!

In September 2011, I had the privilege of making 6 large candleholders for a friend's wedding. They turned out better than I could have imagined and added SO much to the ceremony & reception! Since then, I've had a few more orders for weddings, whether they're gifts for the bridal party, parents, reception tables, etc. It's so much fun to do and so great to be a part of my customers' special days!

My mosaics are all made with glass I've cut into pieces myself. I collect vases and votive/tealight holders from friends, thrift stores or craft stores and glue the glass pieces right onto the surface, then finish off with grout (that's the fun part, getting my hands dirty!).

For the items I solder together, I construct each panel individually and later stand them up and solder them into a square shape, finally fitting the mirror onto the bottom. Depending on the color scheme, I'll either leave the solder it's silver color or paint it with copper or black patina.

I LOVE to custom-make orders!! Most of the items I've sold have been made specifically at the request of friends or family. Have a favorite color? Size preference for your item? Vase or candleholder? Let me know and I'll price it accordingly! Because each item requires such care and attention, I don't like to rush the construction - and I also have a full time job, so please be patient - I promise it'll be worth the wait! :)

Payment
I accept payment with credit cards or PayPal.

For custom orders, once we discuss price, colors, etc., I require a non-refundable down payment of 50% to get started on the order. Once it's finished and ready-to-ship, I'll create a second listing (with photo of the finished item) for the remaining 50%. I will ship when I receive the second payment for the order.
Shipping
My shipping is done via UPS ground. If you would like them delivered sooner, let me know before you purchase and I'll upgrade the shipping cost to cover expediting shipment. I always select "email notifications" when I ship, so that both the buyer and I can track the status of the item.

For "Ready to Ship" items - I will ship within one day of receiving payment.

For "Made to Order" items or custom orders - due to the fact that I have a full time job, please allow up to three weeks for me to construct your order, then it will be shipped to you. If I'm working on other orders, it may take a bit longer as I finish them first. If that's the case I will let you know and keep you updated as I go on yours. If you have a deadline in which you need your order, please let me know upon checkout and we can work something out.
Refunds and Exchanges
I pack each of my packages carefully and insure them, however if an item that I send to you becomes damaged during shipment, please let me know and we can arrange for either either a full refund or I will try and re-create the item as close to the original as possible and send it to you at no additional cost. I will request a photo of the damage if possible.
Additional policies and FAQs
I most certainly do custom orders, whether they are for a single item you'd like specific colors on or a gaggle of items you need for an event - let me know and I'll do my best to take care of you!
