The platter that Daniel made for me was beautiful. Daniel was also a joy to work with. I ordered this platter as a wedding gift for a friend, and Daniel walked me through the whole process. First, he asked what location I would like depicted. I gave him two options and he wrote back suggesting that one had more interesting topography. He even did some background research and found several historical maps of the location. He made suggestions for the design and composition of the piece and asked for my feedback. He was extraordinarily communicative and easy to work with throughout the process. I highly recommend him.

About

Just a little bit about me...

I graduated from East Carolina University in 2013 majoring in Art Education and Studio Ceramics. When not running around in the Art Education world, I find myself in the ceramics studio enjoying hand building, throwing, and mold making. I am interested in topographic mapping on various forms and really like to push the clay to it's limits to achieve sharp angles on thrown pieces. I also experiment with handmade notebooks and various other types of art making that I find interesting. Surrounded by great friends, students, and colleagues I push myself to work hard as an artist and a Art Educator.
