Welcome to Ketubah Graphia on Etsy! I am honored to create works of art for your wedding day and other lifecycle events.

I am a mixed media artist living and working in Brooklyn, New York with a background in Fine Art, Arts Education and Calligraphy. I have been creating Judaica for twenty years in a variety of media. In 2003 I started making original works of art for family and friends to mark significant lifecycle events and Ketubah Graphia was born. I am excited to be able to provide ketubahs to couples of all backgrounds—Jewish, same-sex, interfaith and secular. I work in collaboration with couples to provide them with their often first original artwork as a married couple.

Making ketubahs motivates me to update tradition and bring a contemporary aesthetic to a traditional object. I hope to enrich the meaning of the ketubah and its connection to history in a way that enables transformation through meaningful artwork. I feel privileged to be working with couples at such a momentous time in their lives and am inspired by each love story that I encounter. I intend for the ketubah to be a one-of-a-kind heirloom and archival testament of a couple’s union and their future together.

Please contact me at aliza [!at] ketubahgraphia.com with any questions or to discuss the making of a work of art for your special event.
