Announcement
This is still a great time to buy a Christmas stocking since you probably still have your Christmas stuff out. It'll be a nice suprise for yourself next year.
If you'd like grippers on the socks, leave me a note, and I'll do it for free. They'll take an extra day to ship so the grippers can dry. I use a product called Sock Stop. It's clear so it won't be extremely visible, but you'll be able to see it slightly.

5 out of 5 starsOh my! The socks you custom made me are so perfect Roberta! My painful feet thank you so much! The incredible skill this seller has is beyond words. I needed very baggy socks so the nerves in my feet would not go crazy, and boy did Roberta deliver! My socks I have purchased from Roberta are so lovely, so comfortable and make my feet feel SO much better. Having painful neuropathy in my feet has been a constant battle, and due to your great love and care you put into your incredible soft socks, well they are just dreamy! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!! And your gift to our sweet rescue kitty Bertie is just the bees knees. What a wonderful seller, and now I call her my friend too after getting to know her gentle sweet spirit, thank you!

5 out of 5 starsOh dear Roberta, how I love these alpaca socks! So soft, so warm, and made beautifully! There is no way I can thank you enough for doing this for me, as the neuropathy in my feet is excruciating, and due to your beautiful socks I no longer have that kind of pain. I love the socks I purchased from you that aren’t alpaca too. They are all very comfortable and warm. For anyone who is reading this you can’t go wrong purchasing from Roberta! After meeting her here, I have been so fortunate to get to know her, and she is gone beyond anything anyone would do for these old feet of mine. You won’t be sorry purchasing from this wonderful lady! Thank you so much Roberta I can’t wait to see and touch the next socks you are making for me! 🤗

Playing with Needles
I'm leaving the original story here because I think it's cute, but now I'm an empty nester having homeschooled 3 kids who are now grown and are a veterinarian, a paramedic, and a videographer. I started knitting as another hobby and have had all sorts of fun trying different knitting skills--cables, brioche, lace, Fair Isle, Mosaic, and more to come. Enjoy the shop! Below is our original story when we made jewelry:
Our jewelry business started some years back with my daughter's American Girl dolls. We used push pins to pierce their ears so that they could wear store bought post earrings (we learned how on YouTube.) I know it sounds cruel and they were so young, but they didn't seem to mind. Smiled through the whole thing.
Well, we had some craft wire, beads, and a pair of round nosed pliers laying around, and with these, Leah, the jeweler in our story, made little dangles to hang off the post earrings so "the girls" would look even more elegant.
Then one summer, our family took a trip to Kiawah Island beach where Leah collected dozens of tiny shells with holes already "drilled" in them. She didn't just string them; she got the wire out and made a chain--real people size now-handcrafting each tiny link and attaching the shells all around to make an adorable necklace. (We did tell her then that you could buy chains already made.)
We bought her some how-to books and she took off with it. It was my husband who dubbed it "The Kiawah Collection". Eventually I started "playing" with wire too and she became interested in other things as teenagers do, so now the shop is mine and Leah makes a few things here and there. Many of the jewelry pieces I make are her design.
No extra charge for this--This is a link to an AWESOME story of healing and there are others on the same page; check it out! (You'll have to copy and paste):
