My Glass Bead Life

I am a contemporary glass and jewelry artist known for my organic and earthy signature style.

Having grown up in Arizona, I was able to enjoy the outdoors year round and developed a deep connection with it.
The contrast between the beauty and the harshness of the desert moves me and has led to my fascination for nature's response to the seasonal changes.

After spending time exploring a variety of mediums and making jewelry for myself and my friends, I found my passion for glass in 2003. My husband gave me the gift of a lamp working class and after that, I never looked back.
When creating pieces, I let the glass and metal dictate what I am making and use colors found in nature.

I studied lampworking and metalsmithing at the Mesa Art Center in Mesa, AZ and I have taken many classes from renowned glass artists. I am a member of the International Society of Glass Beadmakers and the Northern California Society of Glass Beadmakers. I have won numerous awards and have been published in several glass art publications.

I currently live in Sacramento, CA designing and making wearable art reflective of the natural world I love to spend time in and I strive to share that vision with others through my work.
