My son loved this tie and got a bunch of compliments. We lost the first one like this that he had and he missed it so much that we ordered another one.

About

When passion becomes creation

Kilted Katana Productions may technically be a one man show, but its all of the fans out there that really give my creations value. I feel that the passion we fans have for these characters and designs is what brings us closer together and helps us relate to each other. I've met lots of awesome people through cosplaying or even just wearing one of my bags that happened to have a TARDIS or a Chocobo on it.

I'm sure lots of people say this, but it's not really about the money at all. Sure, money is important, we can't really survive too well in today's world without it, but what's much more important to me is the excitement of the buyer about the thing they're receiving. I've made plenty of things that I have no real personal connection to, but when I hear how much someone enjoyed the thing I made for them and how excited they get about the show/game/character/etc., it makes me feel great to share in their enthusiasm.

And for those of you less familiar with the word "Fandom," allow me to explain. It's a term that generally applies to a group of people who are passionate about a certain thing. It's most commonly used in the context of things like movies, shows, video games, manga and the like. However it can just as easily be applied to things like animals (I'm definitely in the octopus fandom ^_^), styles (I'm a steampunk fan too), cultures (it feels wierd calling Irish culture a 'fandom' but it could still be applied), or just about anything else. So if you find yourself getting passionate about something out there, let me know what fandom you're in and I'd love to share in your excitement for it, whether you're buying something from my shop or not!
